The Short Version
I'm a full-time futures trader based in Northern Virginia. I trade the NQ and other futures using The Prop Bruh Method, a three-pillar framework built on SphinxFib, ORB, and Market Structure. I've been funded across multiple prop firms, and I teach the same rule-based approach that got me there.
How I Got Here
I didn't come to trading through finance. I built a photography business first, Rouse Photography Group and DC Corporate Headshots, shooting executives and law firms across the country. That taught me something most traders never learn: you can't negotiate with process. The same discipline that keeps a portrait session on schedule and a client happy is the same discipline that keeps a trading account alive.
When I started trading futures, I did what most beginners do. I watched YouTube. I tried every strategy. I traded off feel. I blew through small accounts. I took revenge trades to "make it back." I skipped my own rules because the setup "looked too good to pass up."
Sound familiar?
The Turning Point
Things changed when I stopped trying to outsmart the market and started outsmarting myself. I built a checklist. I defined my sessions. I wrote down rules I could not break, even when it hurt. The biggest rule: two consecutive losses, I'm done for the day. No exceptions.
Then I found SphinxFib, taught by Sphinx Trading on YouTube. I layered it on top of my existing ORB structure and Market Structure work. Suddenly I had a framework with three legs instead of one. One bad setup didn't sink me anymore, because I always had context from the other two pillars.
I got funded. Then funded again. Across multiple prop firms. Not because I got smarter. Because I finally got structured.
Why I Teach
Most traders don't fail because they lack strategy. They fail because they can't follow one. I've been there. I've watched friends blow accounts doing things they knew they shouldn't. Trading education is flooded with hype, signals, and six-figure screenshots, but almost nobody teaches the boring part, the structure, the rules, the refusal to take the trade that "feels right."
That's what Prop Bruh is. A place for traders who are tired of chasing and ready to build a rule-based practice. If that's you, we'll get along.
Outside The Charts
I'm married to La Tanya. I've got two daughters, Sydney (varsity basketball player) and Symone (team manager and scorekeeper). I'm active in my Omega Psi Phi fraternity and my local community in Northern Virginia. When I'm not at the charts, I'm probably at a basketball game or working on a photography project.
